White Tea with Acai or Wu Yi Tea?
I would like to clear up something on quite a few emails we have been getting here. Many of you have asked if white tea is basically just Wu-Yi tea with acai berry added. The answer to this is NO!!
The difference is very simple, wu-yi tea is a form of green tea and white tea is well, white tea! If you have read some of our previous articles you would already know that white tea has almost triple the amount of antioxidants and polyphenols. The weight loss effects are much greater, and white tea tastes WAY better than any kind of green tea ever will.
To further clear things up, Wu-Yi tea is somewhat of a scam diet that hit the market a few years back. The company claimed that they were represented by Oprah and were seen on her show, but this is simply not true. They have never been featured or ever used by Oprah. Further more, scientists have said there is no logical proof that says Wu-Yi tea is any different from any other form of green tea that you can simply buy in stores.
If you would like to try something that was REALLY featured by Dr. Perricone and Oprah, then white tea with acai would be the way to go.
